Isabella is a five year old who lives in Turlock. Last year she was hospitalized due to a deadly E coli bacterium she ingested and was diagnosed with renal failure. She was in need of a life-saving kidney transplant and in May of this year, she received one. Thankfully, her father was a perfect match! Isabella now faces a life long battle with medical challenges and as a result, her family has turned to a national charity for help. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) organizes and guides community volunteers in fund-raising to provide for transplant related expenses for kids like Isabella. In response to the families need, we at Danielle’s Gift made a donation through COTA to help with future medical expenses.
