Janice Herring

Thank you for your donation of books to the CSU Stanislaus Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi! Our 7th annual Spooktacular Boooook Drive was successful due to caring people who know about the joy that children get from reading and learning. We gave the books away at the CSU Stanislaus Housing Halloween Gala. Despite the rain, about 400 children, infants through middle schoolers, received a book!

Daneen Barker

I want to thank you for your support of Jessica’s House. On August 6, 2013 we lost our 19 yr old daughter, Karly Barker, suddenly to an AVM brain bleed. We attended Jessica’s House with our 12 yr old son. They have been invaluable to our family

Billie Owens

Just an update on Joe he’s having his hip replacement surgery today. Thank you again for all you have done for him and our family! God bless you!

Kaili Bowman Blanc

I am so thankful for this organization. I personally know a little boy who will be helped out through the holidays, and it will be an amazing blessing to him! Thank you for being such a blessing in our community.

Jasen

Thank you so VERY much for helping to sponsor Baby Jasen, a 5 year old Modesto boy whom lost his vision from a rare eye cancer (with no cure), so that he can play T-ball with his friends at pre-school. My son, Tyson is his best friend and the kid’s are SO excited to ‘HAVE FUN”! Thank you!!!

Maximilian

Our son, Maximilian, was born January 6 with an abdominal wall defect known as an Omphalocele. His abdomen never closed while he was developing in the womb and his liver remains on the outside of his body in the umbilical cord. He will undergo surgical repair between six and twelve months of age. Without Danielle’s Gift, we would not have had the funds to relocate to be near the Bay Area hospital in which he was born. Nor would we have been able to afford the very expensive specialized car seat that he requires. Maximilian has far surpassed all of our expectations and that of his physicians. He has earned the nickname, “Miracle Max,” and words cannot tell you how much comfort you gave us during this time of trial. Thank you so much for being part of his story. May God bless you all for honoring Danielle in such a beautiful way.

Danielle’s Gift is making a meaningful difference!

After my daughter’s bone marrow transplant, I discovered the blessing of Danielle’s Gift.  When I went to the web site, I was touched to learn about how the foundation was established in honor of Danielle.  She sounded so much like my own daughter, Lauren, who is battling a life threatening illness.  I quickly decided to apply for assistance – the online application process was surprisingly easy.  Even better than that, was the warm response that I received right away.  Danielle’s Gift was able to provide generous financial assistance in my family’s time of crisis.  Without these resources, I would not have been able to be with my daughter during the time that she needed me the most.  I am humbled and grateful to be among the families that Danielle’s Gift foundation is supporting!
